Resumen
[ES] El autismo infantil es un síndrome del comportamiento caracterizado por alteraciones
en las interacciones afectivas y sociales, anomalías en el desarrollo del lenguaje y presencia
de comportamientos repetitivos. Existen evidencias de que el tratamiento terapéutico con
animales aporta beneficios en la salud del niño y niña con autismo, por esto, el principal
objetivo de este proyecto es determinar si se produce una mejora en las capacidades afectivas
y sociales de los niños y niñas autistas mediante la terapia asistida con perros. La
intervención se realizará niñas y niños diagnosticados con autismo, con edades comprendidas
entre los cuatro y ocho años de edad, pertenecientes a distintos centros educativos. El
programa consta diez sesiones espaciadas durante seis meses.
[EN] Childhood autism is a syndrome of behavior characterized by alterations in the affective and social interactions, anomalies in the development of the language and the presence of repetitive behaviors. There is evidence that therapeutic treatment with animals has benefits on the health of the autistic child. Thus, the main objective of this project is to determine if there is an improvement in the affective and social capabilities of autistic children through assisted therapy with dogs. The intervention will take place with girls and children diagnosed with autism aged between four and eight years old, belonging to different educational centers. The program consists of ten sessions spaced over six months.
