En este proyecto se plantea el diseño y la fabricación de una impresora 3D de modelo por deposición fundida (FDM). Para ello se introduce al lector a las nociones básicas de la fabricación aditiva, los fundamentos generales del mundo de la impresión 3D y los cálculos de diseño a tener en cuenta.
Teniendo en cuenta esto, se lleva a cabo un diseño inicial vía software 3D que es llevado a montaje. Consiguiendo una impresora 3D FDM con un amplio volumen de trabajo, capaz de imprimir en diferentes tipos de plásticos en función de las necesidades de su uso, como son el PLA, PETG o ABS. Con ella pueden obtenerse piezas de calidad excepcional con gran tamaño y su estructura modular permite la fácil actualización de componentes, adaptándose al desarrollo de su campo.
This project proposes the design and manufacture of a 3D printer working with fused filament fabrication. Firstly, the reader is introduced to the basic notions of additive manufacturing, the general foundation of the 3D printing world and the calculations for the design that are involve. With all these essential information, the design is carried out via 3D software and taken to its assembly. Achieving to get a FFF 3D printer with a large volume of work printing, being capable to use different types od plastics filaments depending of the preferences for the pieces, such as PLA, PETG or ABS. The machine is able to get good quality and a large size in pieces and its modular structure allows the easy updating of components, adapting to the development of this modern technology
