“STRESS-OFF”.PROGRAMA DE INTERVENCIÓN PARA REDUCIR EL BURNOUT DOCENTE CAUSADO POR LA PANDEMIA A TRAVÉS DEL MINDFULNESS Y LA GESTIÓN EMOCIONAL

Resumen
[ES] El virus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) ha causado una pandemia con repercusiones sociales y económicas a nivel mundial. El profesorado se ha visto enormemente afectado por los cambios repentinos en el ámbito laboral llegando a experimentar estrés y malestar propios del cansancio emocional derivado de la compleja situación. El presente trabajo propone la aplicación de un programa de intervención para reducir el burnout a través de estrategias de gestión emocional y mindfulness, a la vez que trata de lograr una mejora del bienestar psicológico. Siguiendo un diseño cuasiexperimental, la muestra estará compuesta por 30 profesores y profesoras que trabajasen en la escuela pública de Jaén en el momento que fue decretado el estado de alarma, y que a su vez no hayan participado previamente en intervenciones similares. El programa consta de 8 sesiones entre las que se incluyen las medidas PREPOST y un seguimiento transcurrido seis meses para garantizar la eficacia del programa a lo largo del tiempo. Se espera que tras la práctica, los y las docentes desarrollen habilidades y estrategias que puedan aplicar diariamente en el aula y les permitan adaptarse a la nueva normalidad, mejorando así la calidad de vida personal y profesional a la vez que se benefician otros miembros de la comunidad educativa.
[EN] The SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) has caused a pandemic with social and economical repercussions worldwide. Teachers have been strongly affected by sudden changes in the workplace, experiencing stress and discomfort typical of emotional exhaustion derived from the complex situation. The present work proposes the application of an intervention program to reduce burnout through mindfulness and emotional management strategies, while trying to achieve an improvement in psychological well-being. Following a quasiexperimental design, the sample will be made up of 30 teachers who worked at Jaén public school at the same time in which the state of alarm was decreed. Moreover, they can not had previously participated in similar interventions. The program consists of 8 sessions including the PREPOST measures and a follow-up after six months to guarantee the effectiveness of the program over time. It is expected that after practice, teachers develop skills and strategies that they can apply daily in the classroom, allowing them to adapt to the new normal, thus improving the quality of personal and professional life while benefiting other members of the educative community.
