FLIPPING THE CLASSROOM: TEACHING PROPOSAL ON A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE UNIT.

Resumen
[ES] El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster tiene como finalidad la revisión bibliográfica relacionada con el método de enseñanza “clase invertida” para una posterior implementación de dicha metodología en la unidad didáctica propuesta. En esta, el tema principal es “un estilo de vida saludable”, establecido como fundamental por la ley de educación española vigente. La unidad versa sobre tres aspectos esenciales: los hábitos alimenticios, el deporte, y las consecuencias de una mala alimentación. Todos estos son puestos en práctica a través de actividades centradas en el enfoque anteriormente mencionado para conseguir el mayor rendimiento de los alumnos en el aprendizaje del inglés como lengua extranjera.
[EN] The aim of this Master’s Dissertation is to revise the scientific literature about the flipped classroom methodology and to implement it in the didactic unit proposed. In this, the main topic is “a healthy lifestyle”, which is established as fundamental by the Spanish current educational framework. The unit deals with three essential fields: eating habits, sports practice, and the consequences of a poor diet. All these topics are practiced throughout all the activities, which are focused on the teaching method previously mentioned, to get the most of students’ performance when learning English as a foreign language.
