Resumen
El bullying, también conocido como acoso escolar, es un tema de actualidad por su alta prevalencia
y por cómo está afectado a su desarrollo factores como las nuevas tecnologías. Este fenómeno tiene
como consecuencias distintos efectos negativos que pueden desencadenar diferentes trastornos. En
el siguiente trabajo se ha llevado a cabo un análisis acerca de este problema, dónde se analiza su
origen, definición, los diferentes tipos que hay y las características de los participantes que
intervienen. Así mismo, se profundiza en la manera en la que este problema se presenta en la
Educación Infantil -en concreto, en el segundo ciclo (3-6 años)-, especificando las características, la
prevalencia de la que consta, su curso y pronóstico, las consecuencias que este fenómeno produce,
el papel que tiene la familia de cada uno de los participantes y, por último, una serie de programas
preventivos para intentar evitar que se produzca el Bullying.
The school bullying is a very current topic due to its prevalence and to how the technology influences in its development. The bullying has as consequences different negative effects that may lead to several disorders. This essay aims to review this problem, highlighting its etiology, definition, types and the characteristics of the people that intervene in bullying. Furthermore, it is analysed how bullying shows up during the Pre-primary Education –specifically in the second cycle (3-6 years old)-, examining its characteristics, prevalence, course and prognosis, consequences and the role ofthe family of all the students that participate in the process of bullying. Moreover, some prevention programs are described.
