[EN] During the last decades, a revolution in medicine has happened. This is mainly caused by the huge progress made every day in the field of molecular biology, where different DNA manipulation techniques have been developed. Therefore, the formation of citizens and professionals is important to society, who should have a mature critical thinking ability about these terms. Hence, this Master’s thesis aims to develop the didactic unit “Nucleic acids and their related enzymes”, from the contents of the subject Biology, targeted to the last-year scientific students in secondary school. Pupils will work with information related to those biomolecules responsible of the heritage, so as the processes that occur during the genetic information flow. They are aimed to realize their importance and learn about their actual uses, by the employment of teaching strategies focused on a significant and cooperative learning. These will be based on the psycho-pedagogical and social qualities of the students.
