Resumen
[ES] Las desigualdades de género suponen en la actualidad un gran
problema, especialmente en el mercado laboral donde las
diferencias son evidentes. Por ello, desde el feminismo se ha
criticado enormemente la visión de los principales representantes
del pensamiento económico, especialmente a Adam Smith, al que
se le culpabiliza de todos los problemas actuales en relación al
trabajo.
Sin embargo, todos los prejuicios contra el economista no pueden
ser viables puesto que tan solo fue una víctima más del propio
contexto histórico, político y social por el que se inspiró para
redactar “La riqueza de las Naciones”.
Es por ello que el objetivo del presente trabajo, es mostrar que no
todos los problemas que afectan al mercado del trabajo provienen
del “padre de la economía”, sino de aquella corriente que se
propuso cambiar el esquema conceptual de los clásicos,
generando así un nuevo concepto de economía.
[EN] Gender inequalities now pose a major problem, especially in the labour market where differences are evident. That is why, since feminism, the vision of the main representatives of economic thought especially that that of Adam Smith, has been criticized, blamesing him of all the current problems related to work. However, all the prejudices against the economist cannot be viable since it was only one more victim of the historical, political and social context by which it was inspired to write "The wealth of the Nations ". The aim this work is to show that not all problems that affect the labour market come from the “father of the economy”, but from the current that was proposed to change the conceptual scheme of the classics, thus generating a new concept of economy.
