Resumen
El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Máster es unificar el proceso de aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa y el uso de la literatura en el aula EFL para los alumnos de 1o de Bachillerato español, con la esperanza de mejorar sus hábitos de lectura, así como demostrar los beneficios que la literatura en una lengua extranjera aporta a los estudiantes. Para ello, extractos literarios de la obra de 2019 de Jeanette Winterson Frankissstein: A Love Story será utilizada. El trabajo se divide en tres partes: una introducción a los temas relevantes, la fundamentación teórica que ha fundamentado el proyecto, y el diseño de una propuesta didáctica a través de las diferentes metodologías vistas en los apartados previamente como el Enfoque Integrativo, el Aprendizaje Colaborativo o el Aprendizaje Basado en Tareas.
The aim of this Master's Thesis is to unify the process of English language learning and the use of literature in the EFL classroom for 1st year Spanish Bachillerato students, in the hope of improving their reading habits, as well as to demonstrate the benefits that literature in a foreign language brings to students. To this end, literary excerpts from Jeanette Winterson's 2019 work Frankissstein: A Love Story will be used. The work is divided into three parts: an introduction to the relevant topics, the theoretical foundation of the project, and the design of a didactic proposal through the different methodologies seen in the previous sections, such as the Integrative Approach, Collaborative Learning or Task-Based Learning.
