[EN]A research about the possibility of using bottom and fly ashes as raw material in order to make ceramic stuff, and how to incorporate them in the construction sector, is presented in this dissertation. The ashes employed in the elaboration of materials obtained from the biomass plat of the enterprise called Aldebarán Energía del Guadalquivir, which is located in Andújar. These raw materials, as well as the clay used were characterized. Subsequently, the valuation of mechanical and physical properties has been executed. Among these features, they have been estimated the absorption and suction of water, the linear contraction and the loss of mass experimented by the pieces, the apparent density or the resistance to compression. The ceramic items were obtained by means of compaction in a hydraulic press and their consecutive sintering.
