Resumen
[ES] El presente trabajo fin de máster consiste en un análisis crítico al Convenio del Consejo de Europa
sobre prevención y lucha contra la violencia contra la mujer y la violencia doméstica, hecho en Estambul el 11 de mayo de 2011.
Éste trabajo se aborda desde el momento cuando se fragua el Convenio, su análisis, su posterior aplicación y su revisión por parte del GREVIO a España. La importancia del análisis de este Convenio
reside en la lucha social, política, cultural, económica... que se viene haciendo desde niveles internacionales a niveles nacionales sobre la violencia de género.
La violencia de género es un concepto que se ha ido modificando a lo largo de los años en los instrumentos jurídicos que tras el Convenio citado se unifica, lo que produce una fácil discriminación para saber de que se trata y cómo abordarla.
[EN] This master`s thesis consists of a critical analysis of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, done in Istanbul on May 11, 2011. This work is approached from the moment when the Convention is forged, its analysis, its subsequent application and its review by GREVIO to Spain. The importance of the analysis of this Convention resides in the social, political, cultural, economic struggle... that has been carried out from international to national levels on gender violence. Gender violence is a concept that has been modified over the years in the legal instruments that are unified after the aforementioned Convention, which produces easy discrimination to know what it is about an how to deal with it.
