PROYECTO DE INTERVENCIÓN EN TEMÁTICAS DE EMPLEO DIRIGIDO A MUJERES INDÍGENAS DEL SUR DE CHILE

Abstract

[ES] Los indígenas mapuche, se encuentran en una situación de desventaja respecto al resto de grupos sociales de la comunidad chilena, sobre todo si son pertenecientes a las áreas rurales. A pesar de intentar defender su cultura, sus leyes y costumbres, se encuentran con continuas barreras que dificultan su prosperidad. Dentro de la comunidad mapuche, las mujeres además cuentan con la condición de ser mujer, inmersas en una sociedad patriarcal y por ello es más notable todavía la desigualdad. Este proyecto busca la supresión de la discriminación social, laboral y educativa que ellas sufren desarrollando y acrecentando habilidades y capacidades para mejorar su empleabilidad. Para ello, no se pretende que las mujeres cambien sus estilos de vida, sino que, se busca aprovechar al máximo los elementos que traen la cultura mapuche consigo, aumentando y generando conocimientos y habilidades, y enfocándolos a un desarrollo profesional y laboral. [EN] Mapuche Indians are at a disadvantage compared to other social groups in the Chilean community, especially if they belong to rural areas. They try to defend their culture, laws and costums, but they encounter continuous barriers that hinder their prosperity. Within the Mapuche communities, women also have the status of being women immersed in a patriarcal society, for that reason inequality is more notable. This project seeks to end the social, labor and educational discrmination they suffer, increasing their skills and abilities to improve their employability. This is not intended to change their lifestyles, but it is intended to take ful] advantage of the elements that have the Mapuche culture, to increase and generate knowledge and skills and focus on their profesional and work development.
