La unidad terapéutica y educativa y el trabajo social en los centros penitenciarios de Andalucía

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo pretende que se ponga de manifiesto la efectividad del tratamiento que existe dentro de la Unidad Terapéutica y Educativa, la cual se encuentra implantada en la gran mayoría de los Centros Penitenciarios de Andalucía. También se expondrá en este trabajo como el perfil de las mujeres presas no se encuentra en este tipo de módulos. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo una revisión bibliográfica y documental, a través de la lectura y análisis de diferentes fuentes de información como son libros, revistas, documentos web, etc., además de haber contado con la perspectiva que tienen los técnicos que trabajan dentro del módulo UTE. Del mismo modo, tras la propia experiencia vivida dentro de este ámbito. La UTE se presenta como una alternativa a la prisión tradicional, una nueva forma de reinserción social más eficaz y que trata de romper con la subcultura carcelaria presente en el resto de tratamientos a los que se acogen los internos. Además se pretende destacar la función del Trabajador Social, imprescindible, dentro de este tratamiento.

[EN]The present work claims that there is revealed the efficiency of the treatment that exists inside the Unit Therapeutic and Educational, which is implanted in the great majority of the Penitentiary Centers of Andalusia. Also it will be exposed in this work as the profile of the imprisoned women he is not in this type of modules. For it there has been carried out a bibliographical and documentary review, across the reading and analysis of different sources of information since they are books, magazines, web documents, etc., beside having relied on the perspective that there have the technical personnel who work inside the module UTE. In the same way, after the own experience lived inside this area. The UTE appears as an alternative to the traditional prison, the most effective new form of social rehabilitation and that tries to break with the prison present subculture in the rest of treatments in which the boarders take refuge. In addition one tries to emphasize the function of the Social, indispensable Worker, inside this treatment.
