El Arte como altavoz en la lucha contra la violencia de género

Abstract

La violencia de género se manifiesta en diversos tipos y ha estado presente en la mayoría de ámbitos de la vida cotidiana. Es una lacra que afecta al conjunto de la sociedad desde hace décadas. A través de este trabajo, he realizado un recorrido a través de las cuatro olas feministas, con especial énfasis al “feminismo radical” haciendo mención a las mujeres más destacadas, artistas, teóricas. También a las diferentes leyes que se han creado para que la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres sea una realidad. Y Por último abrir una línea con las artistas y su transcendencia en la revolución feminista que se inició en los años 60 y su influencia en la transformación del arte contemporáneo.

Gender violence in all its forms has been present in most areas of the everyday life. It is a scourge that affects the whole of society and has have more visibility in media for decades. With this work, I want to connect the evolution of feminist discourse with its four waves and its impact on Art History, through the work and artists who used plastic art as a way to express feminist ideas. Highlighting especially the contributions of the greatest significance in the feminist revolution started in the 1960s and their influence on the transformation of Contemporary Art.
