Inteligencia emocional en el profesorado de Educación Primaria

Abstract

Este trabajo fin de grado trata sobre la inteligencia emocional relacionada con el profesorado. Para ello, este trabajo se encuentra dividido en dos partes: En la primera parte se presenta la fundamentación teórica. Partiendo del concepto de emoción, se explican los modelos teóricos en el estudio de las emociones (inteligencia emocional y competencia emocional). Profundizando más en el tema, introduciremos el concepto de educación emocional desde el currículo de primaria. Para finalizar se hablará sobre educación emocional y rol docente, hablando de su bienestar emocional y de dos elementos que contribuyen al bienestar laboral. La última parte de este trabajo presenta una propuesta para trabajar la inteligencia emocional en los docentes.

This final project is about emotional intelligence related to teachers. In order to do that it is divided into two halves. The first one gives information about the theoretical fundamentation. Starting with the concept of emotion, theoretical models are explained in the study of the emotions (emotional intelligence and emotional competence). Getting deeper in this matter, we can introduce the term “emotional education” from primary school curriculum. To conclude with this matter, it will be discussed about emotional education and teaching role referring to its emotional wellness and other two elements that help with the achievement of labor welfare. The final part of this paper shows a proposal in order to improve teachers’ emotional education.
