El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado se propone explorar las diferentes versiones ovidianas del mito clásico de Eco y Narciso con el objetivo de entender muchas de las emociones básicas y absolutas de todo ser humano. Para ello, nos serviremos de una selección de obras de autoría y contexto histórico bien diferentes que, aunque no estén influidas directamente por el mito, sí que mantienen unas conexiones indirectas muy marcadas. Además, el relato mítico servirá para entender el funcionamiento de la sociedad romana junto con su contexto político, histórico y social.
This work explores the different Ovidian versions from the classic myth of Eco and Narciso with the aim of understanding much of the basic and absolute feelings of humankind. For doing so, we will take a selection of works with a very different authorship and historical context. Although these works are not directly influenced by the myth, we will prove their indirect connection with it. Furthermore, the mythical writing will be useful to know about the political, historic and social context of the ancient Rome.
