(ES) La educación pretende formar a las personas en todas sus dimensiones y posibilidades; por tanto,
no podemos olvidar la principal característica de los seres humanos, que nos distingue del resto de
seres vivos, somos seres inteligentes y con emociones. La presente investigación pretende analizar
el nivel de implicación de la inteligencia emocional en educación basándonos en un modelo de
competencias. Se lleva a cabo un modelo de investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva mediante la
cual analizamos los niveles de inteligencia emocional en alumnos de Educación Primaria y alumnos
de etapas postobligatorias para describir los puntos fuertes y débiles y observar la evolución de la
implicación de este tipo de inteligencia en la educación con el paso de los años.
(EN) Education aims to train people in all their dimensions and possibilities, therefore, we cannot forget the main characteristic of human beings, which distinguishes us from other living beings, we are intelligent beings with emotions. This research aims to analyze the level of involvement of emotional intelligence in education based on a competency model. After this, a cuantitative, descriptive research model is carried out through which we analyze the levels of emotional intelligence in students of Primary Education and students of post-compulsory stages to describe the strengths and weaknesses and to observe the evolution of the implication of this type of intelligence in education over the years.
