SIMULACIÓN DEL PROCESO DE OBTENCIÓN DE CUMENO CON ASPEN PLUS

Abstract

En este trabajo se desarrolla un modelo estacionario de simulación con Aspen Plus para la fabricación de cumeno a partir de benceno y propileno, optimizando el proceso químico-industrial idóneo. Se realiza un diseño del proceso de obtención de cumeno detallado y justificando las especificaciones de cada una de las unidades que consta. En el diagrama de flujo se identifican los materiales, las operaciones de cada unidad y los procesos involucrados para un estudio de análisis sensibilidad sobre el modelo desarrollado, que permitió identificar las variables críticas y optimizar el rendimiento de cada uno de los equipos empleados. Estas unidades se optimizan secuencialmente en el orden en que aparecen en el diagrama de flujo.

In this work a stationary simulation model is developed with Aspen Plus for the manufacture of cumene from benzene and propylene, optimizing the ideal chemical-industrial process. A detailed design of the process of obtaining cumene is carried out, justifying the specifications of each of the units it consists of. The flow diagram identifies the materials, the operations of each unit and the processes involved for a sensitivity analysis study on the developed model, which allowed identifying the critical variables and optimizing the performance of each of the equipment used. These units are optimized sequentially in the order in which they appear in the flow diagram.
