DERECHO MEDIOAMBIENTAL

Abstract

Como consecuencia de las grandes catástrofes medioambientales producidas durante el siglo XX, la sociedad en su conjunto ayudada por organizaciones internacionales de peso, pusieron al medioambiente en el lugar que le correspondía. En el presente trabajo se estudiará concisamente la evolución que tuvo el derecho ambiental desde un punto de vista internacional, mencionando y explicando las grandes conferencias internacionales celebradas al respecto y sobre todo se hará un estudio exhaustivo del derecho medioambiental en el estado español. Intentando con ello, explicar al lector del presente trabajo las competencias medioambientales que tienen en su poder las distintas Administraciones Públicas, los instrumentos de control utilizados por éstas para proteger el medioambiente, y como broche final, la responsabilidad que existe sobre los daños producidos al entorno con sus respectivas sanciones administrativas.

As a consequence of the great environmental catastrophes that occurred during the 20th century, society as a whole, with the help of important international organisations, put the environment in its rightful place. In this work we will concisely study the evolution of environmental law from an international point of view, mentioning and explaining the major international conferences held in this respect and, above all, we will make an exhaustive study of environmental law in Spain. The aim is to explain to the reader of this work the environmental competences of the different Public Administrations, the instruments of control used by them to protect the environment and, finally, the responsibility that exists for the damage caused to the environment with their respective administrative sanctions.
