[EN] Floating photovoltaic technology is an independent line of application that emerged in 2007 and, since then, has been gaining popularity due to its increasingly recognized advantages. This is mainly due to the fact that it proposes a powerful solution to one of the main problems of conventional photovoltaic technology: the space required. However, the fast development of this technology must be accompanied by a regulation capable of maintain the rhythm at the legislative and regulatory level, which, nowadays, delays its progress through slow and tedious procedures. This study focuses on the current state of this technology, the design of a self-consumption facility of this type and its processing within the Spanish regulatory framework.
