Abstract

En el presente trabajo vamos a exponer las distintas visiones de las personas con discapacidad a lo largo de la historia y como han ido evolucionando las formas de atenderlas, sobre todo a partir del fomento de la Vida Independiente. Actualmente, la figura profesional del asistente personal carece de la importancia que realmente tiene y esto se ve reflejado tanto a nivel legislativo como social.
