MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES INSIDE THE L2 –SECOND LANGUAGE TEACHING CONTEXT

[ES]El presente trabajo versa acerca de la corriente ideológica originada por Howard Gardner en 1983; “Inteligencias múltiples”, y del impacto de la misma sobre el contexto educativo.
Se expondrán los motivos por los cuales dicha corriente ideológica puede resultar beneficiosa a la hora de implementarla en las aulas de idiomas foráneos, es decir, el caso de los idiomas considerados lenguas no vehiculares o secundarias. A su vez, nos centraremos en la Educación Secundaria No obligatoria dentro del marco territorial de España.
En la parte final, se presentarán las conclusiones obtenidas acerca de la implementación de este “método” dentro del área docente de las L2, así como, las cualidades que ofrece dicha corriente ideológica en sí.
[EN]This work talks about the ideological current created by Howard Gardner in 1983; “Multiple Intelligences”, and its impact on the educational context. The main reasons why this ideological current may turn out to be beneficial when implementing it inside foreign language classrooms, that is, the case of languages considered non-vehicular or secondary languages (L2), will be exposed. As well as that, the scope of the attention will lay on Non-compulsory Secondary Education within the Spanish territorial framework. Ultimately, the conclusions reached concerning the implementation of this “Method” into the L2 Teaching area, together with the qualities of Multiple Intelligences itself, will be presented.
