[EN]The analysis of the efforts made by football players have been object of study for quantifying the charge and optimize the performance through competition. The purpose of this study was quantifying and comparing the external charge produced in a football match in the Spanish first division league, BBVA, differentiating different periods during the match. It was analyzed 18 matches of one team in official competition from the 2015-2016 season of the BBVA Spanish league. Through GPS devices, it was obtained data from variables that shows the intensity during competition. The results shows significant statistic differences (p<0.05) in each of the analyzed variables, having in mind the different time periods during the match, with high average values in each of the variables. In conclusion, the game intensity has an unequal behavior through the match, producing a progressive decline as the game time pass.
