This concept is related on the one hand, with the public deficit that arises when the State has higher expenses than income and, on the other hand, with the risk premium that is defined as the overprice that pay a country to finance in the markets compared with other countries. In the present work, I try to give an approximation of the evolution of these concepts focusing mainly on the period of economic and financial crisis in which we have been involved. In this period, the situation being experienced by Spain has an important and inevitable impact on these factors.
