Language is understood as a fundamental element in the development of the human being. Boys and girls begin to communicate with their environment through language at an early age and it is thanks to it that they understand the world around them and interact with it. In fact, babies are already beginning through non-verbal communication to understand and respond to the interactions of adults with gestures such as smiling. This is why it is considered very important to work on it from the moment any indication of a deficit appears in any of its aspects in order to be able to alleviate it in time and that the development of the boy or girl is adequate in terms of their communication. In this sense, the Hearing and Language professional of schools is considered an essential figure to work in this area of education, so this work includes not only the study of language, but also its correct use and the way in that it influences the present and future development of the boy or girl and in their day-to-day life. Among the existing language problems in students, the one that has been most observed in recent times is SLI (Specific Language Disorder), this disorder has long been confused with language delay, the truth is that they are not the same. same and that each of these has a different motive and treatment. Several authors have studied this type of language deficit, among which Gerardo Aguado stands out, who, among other data, points out that it is the most severe disorder in the language acquisition process and that it is evolutionary, it cannot be cured, hence the importance of good follow-up from the beginning of your treatment.
