Resumen
Este trabajo se ha realizado para dar respuesta a las siguientes
preguntas: ¿cuál es el estilo de liderazgo más utilizado en la
actualidad? ¿cuál es el mejor estilo de liderazgo en épocas de
crisis? Para la primera pregunta, se ha revisado la literatura de
liderazgo y se ha llevado a cabo una encuesta a distintos líderes
españoles y americanos, usando un cuestionario, que analiza la
influencia de distintos factores del liderazgo transformacional y
transaccional en el estilo de liderazgo actual. Los resultados
muestran una influencia mayor del estilo transformacional,
especialmente los factores de motivación inspiracional y estímulo
intelectual, y una ligera influencia transaccional, producida por la
gestión de excepción. Para responder a la segunda pregunta, se
han analizado ciertos estudios que apuntan al estilo
transformacional como el mejor estilo, y se ha comprobado su
eficacia con casos reales durante la crisis del Covid-19,
This work has been carried out with the intention of answering the following questions: what is the most used leadership style nowadays? And what is the best leadership style in times of crisis? To answer the first question,I revied the leadership literature and a survey was carried out among different Spanish and American leaders, using a multifactorial leadership questionnaire, which analyzes the influence of different factors of transformational and transactional leadership on the current leadership style. The results show a greater influence of the transformational style, especially the factors of inspirational motivation and intellectual stimulation, and a slight transactional influence, produced by exception management. To answer the second question, certain studies that point to the transformational style as the best style have been analyzed, and its effectiveness has been tested with real cases during the Covid-19 crisis, in companies with leaders with transformational style.
