VOCES SILENCIADAS EN LA CARA OCULTA DE LA CIUDAD. UNA MIRADA INTEGRAL AL SINHOGARISMO Y LA APOROFOBIA

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es conocer las principales características psicosociales y estructurales del sinhogarismo y la aporofobia, destacando cómo estas cuestiones están íntimamente relacionadas con la exclusión social y los entornos urbanos. Para ello, se ha hecho un recorrido teórico científico con el fin de comprender algunas causas y consecuencias de esta problemática. Se destaca cómo el sinhogarismo es un fenómeno multifactorial y se aborda la aporofobia como máxima expresión de discriminación hacia las personas sin hogar. A través de este análisis, se pretende dar voz, visibilizar y plasmar la realidad del colectivo para, posteriormente, discutir cómo y en qué medida supone el sinhogarismo un problema social y una violación de derechos. Además, se resalta el aumento del sinhogarismo en España en la última década, el cual refleja la necesidad urgente de abordar esta problemática desde una perspectiva más comprensiva y transversal, que no solo se centre en las consecuencias, sino también en las causas estructurales y sociales subyacentes. La propuesta de intervención incluye una metodología mixta centrada en la concienciación social y políticas públicas efectivas. Los resultados evidencian la realidad del sinhogarismo y la aporofobia, sugiriendo que el apoyo social y la concienciación y la visibilidad son esenciales para abordar esta problemática

The aim of this paper is to learn about the main psychosocial and structural characteristics of homelessness and aporophobia, highlighting how these issues are closely related to social exclusion and urban environments. For this purpose, a scientific theoretical journey has been made in order to understand some of the causes and consequences of this problem. It is highlighted how homelessness is a multifactorial phenomenon and aporophobia is addressed as the maximum expression of discrimination against homeless people. Through this analysis, the aim is to give voice, make visible and capture the reality of the group to subsequently discuss how and to what extent homelessness is a social problem and a violation of rights. It also highlights the increase in homelessness in Spain in the last decade, which reflects the urgent need to address this problem from a more comprehensive and cross-cutting perspective, focusing not only on the consequences, but also on the underlying structural and social causes. The intervention proposal includes a mixed methodology focused on social awareness and effective public policies. The results highlight the reality of homelessness and aporophobia, suggesting that social support and awareness and visibility are essential to address this issue
