Public utility networks, such as gas, electricity, telecommunications, and water, are essential to modern society. However, their importance comes with significant risks, as any failure can have serious consequences. To minimize these risks, it is crucial to understand the hazards and causes of failures. This project aims to design an integrated system using open-source tools that combine the capabilities of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), data analysis and visualization, and web development. By implementing this technology, better collaboration and data sharing among stakeholders—such as service providers, governments, and communities—can be achieved. This will lead to safer and more efficient management of public utility infrastructures. Integrating these technologies seeks to reduce the risk of accidents and improve decision-making in the planning and maintenance of these critical infrastructures.
