(EN) A film soundtrack, from its very beginnings, has helped to acquire relaxed and playful lessons in the context of a pedagogical activity. The development of musical communication among schoolchildren contributes to fundamental psychological functions such as attention, memory, visual perception and hearing. Primary school children are attracted to sound, singing, movement and rhythmic exercises. For this research work, two phases are used in the methodology, a literature review and a descriptive, non-experimental transectional one, using as an instrument the questionnaire carried out on a population of teachers from different educational centres. The research yields a favourable result and proves the hypothesis that a soundtrack can be used as an academic tool. The student does not know that he/she is being educated, but that during the process he/she is amused and interested. The use of soundtracks in films is of great educational importance, in the auditory motor and sensitive process. The movement of this activity favours the cognitive process and the movements that contribute to the musical development of children.
