La Importancia de la estadística en educación primaria

Abstract

(ES) Desde hace siglos, se ha hecho uso de la Estadística. Por ejemplo, para cuantificar la población total de dicha época, es decir, el uso de esta rama de las Matemáticas no se ha implementado en la actualidad. La importancia de la Estadística en Educación Primaria será el tema principal de este documento. No somos conscientes de que la Estadística está presente en nuestro día a día, en multitud de situaciones. Mediante este TFG, se pretende darle a la Estadística la importancia que merece. El objetivo no consiste solo en enseñarle esta disciplina a los alumnos y alumnas, sino que la sociedad reflexione y le otorgue la relevancia que merece la Estadística. De este modo, se logrará formar a unas futuras generaciones mucho más competentes y capacitadas.

(EN) Statistics have been used for centuries. For example, to quantify the total population of that age. This means that the use of this branch of Mathematics is not something implemented now. The importance of this subject in Primary School will be the main topic of this document. We are not aware that Statistics are present in our day-to-day in multiple occasions. Throughout this work, it is pretended to give Statistics the importance that deserves. The main objective is not to teach the subject to the students, but to make the society reflect on that importance and give the Statistics the attention deserved. Thus, future generations will be more competent and qualified.
