AUGE DEL TURISMO DEPORTIVO

Abstract

Como todos sabemos, hoy en día el turismo está en pleno auge y cada vez es más fácil practicarlo y está al alcance de más personas alrededor de todo el mundo. Una de las modalidades que más está incrementado sus cifras es el turismo deportivo y por lo tanto en este trabajo trataremos de explicar el porqué de este auge y analizaremos las distintas modalidades que hay dentro del turismo deportivo, así como los antecedentes, evolución y actualidad de este tipo de turismo. Todo esto lo estudiaremos tanto a nivel global como nacional y regional, sin olvidar el impacto que tiene en aquellas áreas en las que se desarrolla esta actividad y su repercusión a distintos niveles.

As we all know, nowadays, tourism is booming and is becoming easier to practice and available to more people around the world. One of the modalities that is increasing its numbers is sports tourism and, therefore, in this dissertation, we will try to explain the reasons for this boom and we will analyze the different modalities of sports tourism, as well as the antecedents and the past and present evolution of this type of tourism. We will study sports tourism globally, nationally and regionally, without forgetting the impact that it has on those areas in which this activity takes place at different levels.
