¿VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO O ESTRÉS DEL CUIDADOR EN MUJERES MAYORES DEPENDIENTES? ESTADO DE LA CUESTIÓN Y PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN

Abstract

[ES]En el presente Trabajo fin de Máster, se trata de comprender e indagar cómo se manifiesta sutilmente la desigualdad existente desde la perspectiva de género, desembocando así en violencia de género y dejando efectos devastadores hacia la mujer. La violencia de género que sufren las mujeres mayores dependientes, es algo prácticamente invisibilizado, hasta el punto de que en algunos estudios e investigaciones confunden violencia de género con el estrés del cuidador, ocultando en el imaginario colectivo la violencia de género, justificando dichas prácticas como “estrés” por cuidar a su pareja diariamente. Tras la revisión de los Protocolos nacionales de Atención, detección y prevención del maltrato, se deja ver como se omite a las mujeres mayores dependientes que sufren maltrato por parte de sus cónyuges, por ello, el objetivo de dicho trabajo es el diseño de un protocolo de atención, donde se actúe multidisciplinarmente, para así, detectar, prevenir y actuar frente a la violencia de género en mujeres mayores dependientes Palabras claves: patriarcado, violencia de género, mujeres mayores dependientes, estrés del cuidador, protocolo, detección, prevención.

[EN]In this work, the aim is to understand and investigate how existing inequality is subtly manifested from a gender perspective, thus leading to gender violence and leaving devastating effects on women. The gender violence suffered by dependent older women is practically invisible, to the point that in some studies and research they confuse gender violence with caregiver stress, hiding gender violence in the collective imagination, justifying such practices as "stress" for caring for their partner on a daily basis. After reviewing the National Protocols for Care, Detection and Prevention of Abuse, it is clear that elderly dependent women who suffer abuse from their spouses are omitted. Therefore, the objective of this work is to design a protocol for care, where multidisciplinary action is taken to detect, prevent and act against gender.
