Turismo 2.0: Los destinos turísticos inteligentes

Abstract

[ES] En el presente trabajo se analiza la nueva filosofía que se impone, cada vez con más fuerza, en el turismo 2.0, la denominada filosofía smart. Concretamente, se analizarán lo que son las smart cities (ciudades inteligentes) y los smart destinations (destinos inteligentes). Se explica en que consisten ambos conceptos, cuáles son las oportunidades que genera el implantar estos nuevos modelos turísticos, las diferencias y semejanzas entre ambos conceptos, así como las claves para la adaptación de los principios de una ciudad inteligente a los destinos turísticos inteligentes. Además, se exponen ejemplos prácticos de destinos que se han adaptado a esta nueva filosofía, incluyendo algunos indicadores para poder medir si un destino turístico puede ser considerado como inteligente o no.

[EN] This study analyse the new philosophy that appear in the Tourism 2.0, called smart philosophy. Concretely, it will be analysed two new concepts related with this topic, the smart cities and the smart destinations. Therefore, it explains these two concepts, the differences and similarities between as well as or the keys to the adaptation of the principles of a smart city to the smart destinations. In addition, it exposes some practical examples and also some indicators to measure whether a destination can be regarded as intelligent destination or not.
