Using ICT Tools to Enhance the CLIL Methodology

Abstract

(ES) Este Trabajo Fin de Máster estudia la relevancia y los principios de la metodología AICLE, haciendo un recorrido sobre sus orígenes y definiciones, analizando sus puntos fuertes y débiles. Para todo ello, las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación desempeñan una función esencial favoreciendo y facilitando su puesta en práctica. No obstante, es necesario conocer sus riesgos y desafíos, así como la implementación correcta para lograr éxito en el método AICLE. Todo ello se pone en práctica en la propuesta educativa, partiendo de un reto, para favorecer la motivación del alumnado, empleando diversas herramientas digitales, para cumplir con el principal objetivo de dicho trabajo, que pretende favorecer y aplicar el método AICLE, con ayuda de las TIC. Las actividades presentadas están divididas en diversas fases, respetando el desarrollo cognitivo del alumnado, con una metodología activa y participativa, en la que el alumnado es el protagonista de su proceso de aprendizaje.

(EN) This Master’s Dissertation studies the importance and principles of the CLIL methodology, tracing its origins and definitions, and analyzing its strengths and weaknesses. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are essential in supporting and facilitating its implementation. However, it is crucial to understand its risks and challenges, as well as the correct implementation needed to succeed with the CLIL method. All of this is put into practice in the educational proposal, starting with a challenge to enhance student motivation, using various digital tools to achieve the main objective of this work, which is to promote and apply the CLIL method with the help of ICT. The activities presented are divided into various phases, respecting the students’ cognitive development, with an active and participatory methodology where students take center stage in their learning process.
