Bullying en estudiantes en edad universitaria: ¿es cosa del pasado?

Abstract

Este trabajo ha sido realizado con el objetivo de conocer más a fondo el fenómeno bullying en los contextos escolares españoles. Se ha considerado importante relacionar el bullying con variables diferentes a las habituales como el sexo o edad, y se ha buscado una nueva línea de investigación interrelacionándolo con variables como la autoestima, la inteligencia emocional y el uso habitual de videojuegos, entre otros. Se realizó un cuestionario y se pasó a estudiantes en edad universitaria con retrospectiva de que contestasen sobre la época escolar y de instituto, ya que la mayoría de veces es complicada su detección a esas edades. El cuestionario fue realizado por 150 participantes de manera voluntaria y anónima vía online. Finalmente, y como resultado del análisis de los datos, se pudo concluir que el bullying es algo que continúa con nosotros a día de hoy.

This work has been carried out with the aim of learning more about the bullying phenomenon in Spanish school contexts. It has been considered important to relate bullying with variables other than the usual variables such as sex or age, and a new line of research has been sought, interrelating it with variables such as self-esteem, emotional intelligence and habitual use of video games, among others. A questionnaire was conducted and passed to university-age students with a retrospective of answering about the school and high school days, since most of the time it is difficult to detect at these ages. The questionnaire was carried out by 150 participants voluntarily and anonymously online. Finally, and as a result of the data analysis, it was possible to conclude that bullying is something that continues with us today.
