Resumen
Este trabajo trata, por una parte el método Monte Carlo,
concretamente sobre los orígenes de esta metodología, sus
aplicaciones y los grandes avances en el mundo de las ciencias.
Además, aplicaremos este método en el test de independencia de
Pearson y mostraremos sus distintos abordajes.
Asimismo, mostraremos cómo calcular el test de independencia
en tablas de contingencia mediante el método asintótico, exacto y
Monte Carlo computacionalmente, así como las distintas
alternativas que existen en el caso de que no se cumplan las
condiciones necesarias para llevar a cabo el primero de ellos.
Por último, se realiza un estudio comparativo del comportamiento
de las metodologías para el test de independenciaaplicadas a
tablas de contingencia de dimensión 2×2 y R×C, utilizando datos
sobre la situación de Covid-19 en Andalucía durante el año 2020
facilitados por el Instituto de Estadística y Cartografía de
Andalucía (IECA).
This work deals, on the one hand, with the Monte Carlo method, specifically about the origins of this methodology, its applications and the great advances in the world of science. In addition, we will apply this method in Pearson's X ^ 2 independence test and we will show its different approaches. Likewise, we will show how to calculate the independence test in contingency tables using the asymptotic, exact and computationally Monte Carlo method, as well as the different alternatives that exist in the event that the necessary conditions are not met to carry out the first of them. .Finally, a comparative study of the behavior of the three methodologies applied to contingency tables of dimension 2×2 and R×C is done, collected data on the Covid-19 situation in Andalusia during the year 2020 provided by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA) were used.
