In this project, the management of a load profile in an industrial building connected to a hybrid microgrid based on solar photovoltaic energy is carried out with the aim of maximizing energy efficiency. This includes sizing a photovoltaic generator and evaluating two different battery sizes according to self-consumption and self-sufficiency indices. For this purpose, a detailed study of the industrial building's consumption is conducted. It is concluded that a generator size of 5.5 kW and battery sizes of 9 kWh and 11 kWh are suitable. Simulations are performed for the two chosen battery sizes using the averaged model in MATLAB Simulink to analyze the energy flow between the battery, the grid, the photovoltaic generator, and the load. The simulation results allow verifying the system's operation and justifying the choice of battery and generator sizes.
