This Thesis aims to investigate into the current situation in the excessive use of new technologies in adolescents. The goal is to provide techniques that enable a balanced approach to addressing potential risks and to promote responsible and mindful use of these digital platforms. A future plan for psychological intervention is proposed for individuals aged between 11 and 16 years. This approach is based on an integrative therapy framework, which encompasses a variety of strategies from different therapeutic approaches. Also, Animal-Assisted Therapy is included as an effective treatment for pathologies related to technology addiction. Sessions are also proposed not only as intervention but also as prevention measures against the misuse of new technologies. The ultimate purpose of this work is to shed light on Animal-Assisted Intervention, positioning it as a viable resource within the psychological field to address an increasingly concerning and prevalent issue: technology addiction.
