PROYECTO DE IAA PARA LA PREVENCIÓN EN ADICCIÓN A LAS TICS: LA TECNOLOGÍA AL SERVICIO DE LOS ANIMALES

Abstract

[ES] Con el avance y evolución de la tecnología se están observando, cada vez más, el desarrollo de patrones de usos disfuncionales y abusivos, sobre todo en el sector de la población más joven, los adolescentes. A través de la motivación, estados de relajación, disminución del estrés y ansiedad que suscitan los animales, se conseguiría incidir en los factores de riesgo y potenciar los de protección, posibilitando así no solo prevenir el desarrollo de adicciones relacionadas con la tecnología, sino que además los adolescentes aprenderían a aprovechar y hacer un uso funcional y adaptativo de la misma. Todo ello se lograría a través de un aprendizaje mediatizado por perros de terapia y la creación de contenidos educativos que favorezcan la adopción de perros de protectora. De esta forma los adolescentes tendrían la posibilidad de aprender a manejar mejor sus emociones y verían incrementado el sentimiento de autoeficacia, factores ambos, muy importantes para que el adolescente se desarrolle libre de adicciones, las cuales, sean del tipo que sean, siempre coartan el desarrollo integral del ser humano. En virtud de todo esto se ha diseñado este Proyecto de Prevención en adicción a las TICs: la Tecnología al Servicio de los Animales.

[EN] The increasing progress and evolution of the technology is generating, more and more, the development of patterns of dysfunctional and abusive applications, with particular repercussion in young population, the teenagers. To influence in factors of risk and enhance factors of protection, it is necessary to generate motivation and states of relaxation, which means decreasing stress and anxiety. Animal assisted therapy provides this welfare, making possible not only the prevention of addictions related to technology, but also encouraging teenagers to learn how to take advantage and make a functional and adaptive use of technology. This is achieved through the use of assisted therapy dogs for learning and the creation of educational content to encourage the adoption of dogs from animal protection organisations. That way, the teenagers would have the possibility to learning how to better manage their emotions which will lead in an increase on the feeling of self-efficacy. This two factors are highly important in order to get the development of teenagers be free of addictions, which, whatever they are, always restrict the integral development of the human being. Under all this evidences has been designed this project of Animal Assisted Intervention for addiction prevention in TICs: Technology at the Service of the Animals.
