ANÁLISIS DE INFERENCIA ESTADÍSTICA SOBRE DATOS TURÍSTICOS EN LA PROVINCIA DE JAÉN

Abstract

[ES] En el presente Trabajo Fin de Grado se realiza un análisis de inferencia estadística sobre datos turísticos en la provincia de Jaén. La técnica estadística utilizada es el análisis bifactorial de la varianza, con la finalidad de contrastar las diferencias existentes en el número de pernoctaciones según los diferentes turistas, tanto nacional como extranjero, en la provincia citada, y en comparación con otras provincias de Andalucía, como son Málaga, Cádiz y Córdoba. La estructura de esta Memoria es la siguiente. Se realiza una introducción al turismo en Jaén exponiendo, brevemente tanto la historia del turismo como su evolución con el paso de los años. Además, se realiza un análisis de los datos de este sector en la provincia de Jaén en el período de 2014 a 2018. A continuación, se describe la teoría del análisis factorial de la varianza y, en el último capítulo se ilustra su aplicación en el ámbito turístico.

[EN] In the present final degree work, an analysis of statistical inference is applied to the tourist data in the province of Jaén. This is carried out by ussing a bivariate analysis of the variance, with the purpose of contrasting the differences in the number of overnight stays according to national and foreign tourists, in the mentioned province, and in comparison with other provinces of Andalusia, such as Malaga, Cádiz and Córdoba. The structure of this memory is as follows. An introduction to tourism in Jaén is presented, briefly exposing the history of tourism and its evolution over the years. In addition, an analysis of the data of this sector in the province of Jaén is carried out in the period from 2014 to 2018. Next, the theory of factorial analysis of variance is described and, in the last chapter, its application in the tourist area.
