This research aims to evaluate the performance of different low-cost GNSS devices and to establish their capabilities and limitations in precise positioning, both in real-time and post-processing, as well as in static and kinematic modes. Employing the solutions of geodetic GNSS equipment (Topcon Hiper HR), low-cost GNSS equipment (U-blox ZED-F9P), and a mobile device or smartphone (Xiaomi MI10), both capable of receiving GNSS signals, are evaluated. An evaluation procedure has been designed for each GNSS device, the optimal configurations of the different equipment have been defined and a series of tests have been performed, both in static and kinematic modes, to obtain numerical and graphical results Representative of the quality of the solutions obtained in GNSS positioning. The observation and field data recording phase has been carried out in Jaén (Andalusia, Spain).
