CLIL AND MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES: A DIDACTIC PROPOSAL FOR THE SECOND GRADE OF PRIMARY EDUCATION

Abstract

[ES] Este Trabajo Fin de Máster se basa en una propuesta didáctica titulada “AICLE e Inteligencias Múltiples: una propuesta didáctica para el segundo curso de Educación Primaria”. Combina las asignaturas de Ciencias Naturales y Lengua Extranjera (Inglés) y conecta el programa AICLE con la Teoría de las Inteligencias Múltiples para maximizar las oportunidades de aprendizaje del alumnado aprovechando los beneficios de ambos métodos. Atender a los perfiles de inteligencia y los estilos de aprendizaje del alumnado se relacionará también con la implementación de las Inteligencias Múltiples en el aula. De esta manera, la estructura de este documento se divide en dos partes. La primera está dedicada al análisis teórico de la Teoría de las Inteligencias Múltiples y sus implicaciones educativas, así como su conexión con AICLE. La segunda se centra en el desarrollo de la unidad didáctica en sí y se completa con la información de los anexos.

[EN] This Master‟s Dissertation is based on a didactic proposal titled “CLIL and Multiple Intelligences: a didactic proposal for the second grade of Primary Education”. It combines the subjects of Natural Science and Foreign Language (English) and connects the CLIL approach with Multiple Intelligence Theory in order to maximise students‟ learning opportunities by leveraging the benefits of both methods. Attention to students‟ intelligence profiles and learning styles will also be related with the implementation of Multiple Intelligence Theory in the classroom. Thus, the structure of this document is divided in two main parts. The first one is devoted to the theoretical analysis of Multiple Intelligence Theory and its educational implications, as well as of its connection to CLIL. The second one is focused on the development of the didactic unit itself and is completed by the information presented in the appendices.
