EL TRABAJO SOCIAL EN LOS PROGRAMAS DE TRATAMIENTO PARA FAMILIAS. ESTUDIO DESCRIPTIVO POR COMUNIDADES AUTÓNOMAS EN ESPAÑA

Abstract

Los programas de tratamiento familiar se consolidan hoy como servicios preventivos que pretenden evitar la adopción de medidas drásticas que impliquen la separación del menor de su contexto familiar. Nos planteamos realizar un estudio de los programas de intervención familiar implementados en las Comunidades Autónomas. A partir de un análisis documental de tipo cuantitativo y cualitativo, examinamos las diferencias/similitudes de planes y manuales existentes, en cuanto a perspectivas, objetivos, recursos y funciones del trabajador/a social en la intervención familiar. Tras una primera aproximación al campo de estudio, percibimos similitudes en las funciones otorgadas al trabajo social y su fundamentación normativa, pero diferencias en las maneras de denominar los servicios y organizarlos institucionalmente. Discutimos sobre la necesidad de sistematizar la práctica basada en la evidencia a partir de los manuales de trabajo que guían la intervención social de los técnicos.Family treatment programs consolidated today as preventive services that seek to avoid the adoption of drastic measures that imply the separation of the child from the family context. In this work, we intend to identify the family intervention programs implemented by the Autonomous Communities. Based on a quantitative and qualitative documentary analysis, we examined the differences / similarities of the existing plans and manuals, regarding the perspectives, objectives, resources and functions of the social worker in the intervention with families. After a first approach to the study field, we perceive similarities in functions given to Social Workers and its normative basis, but differences in the ways of naming services and organizing them institutionally. We discuss the need to systematize evidence-based practice from the manuals that guide the social intervention of technicians.
