Resumen
[ES]Esta investigación artística pretende plasmar dos obras arquitectónicas, la
Capilla de Campo Bruder Klaus de Peter Zumthor y la Iglesia de la Luz de Tadao
Ando, como inspiración extramusical para la expresión de conceptos compartidos
en música y arquitectura en la pieza original Transparencia observada para
cuarteto de saxofones y electroacústica, así como ideas y emociones con una
finalidad comunicativa y estética.
A pesar de desenvolverse en diferentes medios, no existe ningún
impedimento para indagar entre sus afinidades, tal y como a lo largo de la
historia, arquitectos y músicos han reflejado. Como decía A. Schopenhauer, “la
arquitectura es una música congelada”, por lo que se puede apreciar una
dicotomía entre lo que ocurre en el tiempo y lo estático, además de una
comparación entre la armonía sonora y la proporción visual. Se intenta aunar a
través de una indagación propia y personal en la percepción de la arquitectura
frente a los ojos de una compositora fundamentándose en los conceptos comunes
de transparencia y luz. En definitiva, el proceso de creación de este proyecto ha
ahondado en que, a pesar de ser dos disciplinas artísticas tan diferentes en un
primer instante, constituyen y conforman un mundo común en el que se produce
la convergencia entre planteamientos compositivos, filosóficos y estéticos.

[EN]This artistic research aims to portray two architectural works, the Bruder Klaus Field Chapel by Peter Zumthor and the Church of Light by Tadao Ando, as an extramusical inspiration for the expression of shared concepts in music and architecture in the original piece Transparency observed for a sax quartet and electroacoustics, as well as ideas and emotions with a communicative and aesthetic purpose. In spite of developing in different ways, there is no impediment to inquire into their relationship, as throughout history, architects and musicians have reflected. As A. Schopenhauer said, "architecture is frozen music," so we can see a dichotomy between what happens in time and the static, as well as a comparison between sound harmony and visual proportion. It is tried to unite through a personal and personal investigation in the perception of the architecture before the eyes of a composer based on the common concepts of transparency and light. Definitely, the process of creation of this project has deepened that, despite being two different artistic disciplines in a first moment, they constitute and form a common world in which the convergence between compositional, philosophical and aesthetic approaches takes place.
