Espectroscopía Raman sensibilizada en superficie (SERS) para la investigación de colorantes orgánicos naturales utilizados en objetos del patrimonio cultural

Resumen
[ES]En la última década la espectroscopia Raman se ha convertido en una de las
técnicas imprescindibles en el campo de análisis de muestras de valor cultural
gracias a su utilidad para la identificación molecular y a que es una técnica no
destructiva obteniendo buenos resultados a la hora del análisis de pigmentos
inorgánicos. Sin embargo con los colorantes orgánicos no es posible su uso
debido a la alta fluorescencia que presentan al ser iluminados por un láser
visible y su baja concentración debido a su poder de tinción. Por ello se está
desarrollando una variante denominada Espectroscopia Raman sensibilizada
en superficie para solucionar este problema. En esta técnica las
moléculas orgánicas utilizadas como colorantes se adsorben sobre una
superficie metálica produciendo un fenómeno de sensibilización del efecto
Raman.
[EN]Last decade Raman spectroscopy has become one of most important techniques on the field of art works analysis through it’s usefulness for molecular identification and the fact that is a non-destructive technique obtaining good results in inorganic pigment analysis. However, with organic colorant is not possible due to high fluorescence they present when they are illuminated by a visible laser, and their low concentration due to their staining power. Hence, it’s being developed a variant called Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) to solve the problem. Organic molecules used as colorants are adsorbed on a metallic surface producing a Raman effect sensibilization.
