Resumen
[ES]El cáncer es la segunda causa de muerte en España y su diagnóstico genera un gran impacto para el
funcionamiento de la unidad familiar, sobre todo si existe un pronóstico de incurabilidad. El duelo
complicado tiene una prevalencia entorno al 10-20% siendo una causa de hiperfrecuentación sanitaria.
Diversos estudios plantean una homogeneización de los servicios para identificar y tratar aquellas personas
en riesgo garantizando una atención real.
Objetivo principal: Valorar el efecto de un programa de asesoramiento preventivo para tratar el duelo
anticipado en familiares de pacientes oncológicos en situación terminal en la provincia de Jaén. Los
objetivos específicos: Determinar la correlación entre los niveles de ansiedad y depresión en el riesgo de
duelo complicado, disminuir la incidencia de duelo complicado tras la muerte del ser querido y determinar
los factores que influyen en el duelo complicado.
Material y métodos: Ensayo clínico paralelo aleatorizado, doble-ciego. (Enero 2020- 2022) Población:
cuidadores/as de familiares en situación terminal. Se calculará la incidencia de duelo complicado y la
necesidad de actuación especializada.
[EN]Introduction: Cancer is the second cause of death in Spain and its diagnosis has a great impact on the functioning of the family unit, especially if there is a prognosis of incurability. Complicated mourning has a prevalence of around 10-20% and is a cause of health hyperfrequency. Several studies propose a homogenization of services to identify and treat those at risk ensuring real care. Main objective: To assess the effect of a preventive counselling programme to treat early mourning in relatives of cancer patients in terminal situation in the province of Jaen. Specific objectives: To determine the correlation between levels of anxiety and depression in the risk of complicated mourning, to decrease the incidence of complicated mourning after the death of the loved one and to determine the factors that influence complicated mourning. Material and methods: Randomized, double-blind, parallel clinical trial. (January 2020-2022) Population: caregivers of terminally ill family members. The incidence of complicated grief and the need for specialized action will be calculated.
