[EN] The pollen types of Cupressus, Platanus and Plantago are recognized for their allergenic power and are collected every year at the pollen station of the University of Jaén. This work applies experimentally the standard protocol for pollen sampling and tries to demonstrate the relationship between the pollen concentrations found in the atmosphere and the meteorological factors that occurred during the different years studied. In this way, its pollen seasons and its main pollination period (PPP) are reflected. The methods of defining this period are analysed in detail for each taxon and are compared with each other by exposing the criteria followed by both the EAN (European Aerobiology Network) and the EAACI (European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology). The first one provides a broad biological view on the phenology of the plant community and the second one is only focused on clinical interest, linked to symptomatic thresholds marked by the sensitized population. Finally, the results obtained confirm the initial hypothesis through a Spearman correlational test and agree with other publications, both in the positive relationships with temperatures and wind speed, and in the negative relationships with precipitation.
