Abstract

[ES] La banca socialmente responsable es la consecuencia positiva de décadas de especulación unidas a crisis financieras. Tras la reciente crisis sufrida en España, además de los diversos escándalos económicos, es necesario tomar conciencia de la responsabilidad que recae sobre las entidades financieras en cuanto al impacto que pueden tener en nuestra sociedad. El objetivo es conocer el origen del concepto de banca ética y sus características, para ello se analizará el caso de Triodos Bank, y el conocimiento de la responsabilidad social corporativa y banca ética por parte de la sociedad civil

[EN] Socially responsible banking is the positive consequence of decades of financial speculation coupled with financial crises. After the recent crisis suffered in Spain in addition to the various economic scandals, it is necessary to be aware of the responsibility that falls on financial institutions in terms of the impact they may have on our society. The objective is to know the origin of the concept of ethical banking and its characteristics, for this we will analyze the case of Triodos Bank, and the knowledge of corporate social responsibility and ethical banking by civil society
