MASCULINIDADES EN EL ÁMBITO DEL FÚTBOL Y SU RELACIÓN CON VIOLENCIA

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar si actualmente en fútbol base formativo se siguen desarrollando las masculinidades, si se está consiguiendo una igualdad de género participativa en este ámbito, y la relación que guarda el fútbol con la violencia. Para ello, se han realizado doce entrevistas semiestructuradas. En el análisis de contenido de las personas participantes, se han tenido el sexo, la edad y la formación como variables a tener en cuenta. Los resultados muestran que el fútbol sigue siendo un ámbito que favorece el desarrollo de asculinidades, en muchos casos de manera tan interiorizada y normalizada, que pasa desapercibida a los propios entrevistados. Se evidencia que la igualdad de género no es real, aunque sí es cierto que hay avances notorios, aún queda mucho para conseguirlo, todo ello derivado de los estereotipos de género presentes en la sociedad.

[EN] The objective of this work is to analyze whether masculinities are still developing in educational grassroots football nowadays, if participatory gender equality is being achieved in this area and the relationship that football has with violence. To achieve this aim, twelve semi-structured interviewed were performed. In the content analysis of the participants, sex, age and education were taken into account as variables to take into account. The results show that soccer continues to be an area that favors the development of masculinities, in many cases in such an internalized and normalized way that it goes unnoticed by the interviewees themselves. It is evident that gender equality is not real, although if it is true that there are notable advances, there is still a long way to go to achieve it, all derived from the gender stereotypes present in society.
