(EN)Baeza and Úbeda were declared World Heritage Cities by UNESCO on 3rd July 2003. One of the main reasons is based on their period of greatest splendor during the Renaissance, which left behind one of the most outstanding monumental ensembles in the Andalusian and Spanish landscape. In this dissertation, we focus exclusively on Baeza and it's 16th century religious architecture. First, a brief explanation of the historical context is provided to understand Baeza's society at the time. Afterwards, various buildings are analyzed, classifying them according to their typology, including those that incorporate elements from that century, new constructions and those that have disappeared. Finally, a historical-artistic itinerary organized into three sections according to the different architectural styles. This will allow us to observe and understand the evolution of the Renaissance in Baeza. Keywords: Religious architecture, Baeza, Renaissance, itinerary.
