(EN)The aim of this paper is to analyse the reality of Andalusian teachers of Spanish as a foreign language who teach in homosyglottic and heterosyglottic environments, regarding the use of their Andalusian linguistic variety as a model for their classes, or as a language of communication with their students in the classroom or in other communicative situations. Despite the fact that numerous studies defend that any cultured norm of Spanish, including the Andalusian norm, can be used as a model, as a preferred variety or as a peripheral variety, always taking into account the needs and objectives of the students, the reality in the classroom is that, for different reasons, Andalusian teachers modify their variety or some features in the cases mentioned above.
